The Rays have just won the world series! Or have they?

Yes fellow Rays fans, we all know the Rays sweep of the Yankees was electryfing and satisfying. I attended the games friday and sunday and it was great to see the Rays fans really outnumber the Yankees fans. Its of course the start we were all looking for in the toughest division in baseball, but I think we all know New York will be back, with a vegence!

The Rays set out in the offseason to improve there terrible offense. The Rays have the best starting rotation and defense in the division, but too many times last year the Rays lost 2-1, 3-2 games. So far so good. Carlos Pena single handedly won the opener, and Luke Scott won the game saturday with 3 RBIs. Jennings looks dangerous at the top of the lineup, and Evan Longoria is hitting .600. If the Rays offense continues to hit like this, not only will the Rays win this division, they'll win 100 games.
